This traditional sugar house located on the Exeter River is nestled in the small community of Brentwood in southeastern New Hampshire. Our sugar house was built in 2006 from lumber harvested from our property. From 2006 to 2010, Wilson's Sugar House produced an average of 15 gallons of syrup a year from 100 taps using a 2 by 4 wood fired evaporator. Last year we expanded to 300 taps and boiled with a 2 by 8 wood fired evaporator producing 45 gallons of syrup.
Visitors can take a guided tour of our family operated maple farm, where maple sap is gathered and boiled to make 100% pure maple syrup. We are happy to share our sugaring story any time - you can even walk through the nearby woods where we collect sap, visit our bull calves at the barn, and experience the simple pleasure of smelling the sweet maple steam rolling off the evaporator.
